As a volunteer for The Peipsi Info Center, a unique Estonian non-profit, I have the privilege of supporting cultural, social, and charitable projects that connect Estonia with Asia. Peipsi Info Center, originally the Mustvee Ecotourism Association, now brings together volunteers from around the world to foster cultural diversity and international collaboration.

About The Peipsi Info Center

The Peipsi Info Center, part of the Estonian Volunteer Center since 2010, works on international charity programs and organizes cultural tours. The organization bridges cultures by introducing Asian cultures in Estonia and organizing exchange trips to Asia.

International Meetings

It was inspiring to discuss mutual goals of cultural exchange and envision new projects to strengthen the connection between Estonia and Asia. Meetings in India and elsewhere remind me of the global reach of our shared mission.

My Role and Responsibilities

I support The Peipsi Info Center by presenting Asian culture, helping Estonians learn about its rich heritage and traditions. My work involves preparing presentations and engaging in virtual events to foster mutual understanding between our cultures.

Building and Maintaining the Website

A core part of my volunteer work is managing the organization’s website, which I also built. The website promotes Peipsi Info Center’s cultural programs and charity projects, and supports an upcoming charity web application for international donations.

Looking Ahead

Volunteering with The Peipsi Info Center has been a fulfilling experience, allowing me to promote cultural exchange while contributing to impactful charity projects. I look forward to continuing my work and helping the organization strengthen its cultural connections with Asia.
